Energize your morning with this simple stretch routine!

 

Do you notice how your body makes you completely aware of the importance of stretching when you get out of bed in the morning? Whether it’s from aging, from intense physical activity, or a sedentary lifestyle, do you feel all stiff and creaky in the a.m.? I mean some days, I feel like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz! That is until I do this morning stretch routine.

 

What is a good morning stretch routine?

 

I prefer to do dynamic stretching, meaning I am moving through the stretches and not holding them. Your muscles will be cold when you first get out of bed and the intention for this particular routine is simply to get the blood flowing.
